<div>Fitness and Conditioning at Poland Regional High School</div><div><br></div><div><div> The emphasis of this course is to foster and develop students’</div><div>individualized physical conditioning through a variety of activities in the</div><div>Fitness Studio, Gymnasium, and outdoors. This course provides students</div><div>with an opportunity to improve their cardiovascular and muscular fitness</div><div>through self-directed participation in a variety of cardiovascular, muscular</div><div>strength, and endurance activities. These activities can include, but are not</div><div>limited to, the following: weight lifting, walking, jogging, cycling, and forms</div><div>of aerobics. Progress logs, independent reading, research and reflection</div><div>logs will be used to assess achievement of standards.</div></div> |
